No. 3/5/2010-SVIII/ New Delhi, dated 28.04.2011 Subject:- Assured Career Progression Scheme (ACPS) for the Central Government Civilian Employees - Cases in respect of Announcers in All India Radio, regarding.
Of late it is noticed that there are still some pending cases of ACP Scheme in respect of Announcers on completion of 12 & 24 years of regular service introduced by the Vth CPC prior to introduction of the MACP Scheme w.e.f. 01.09.2008 by the VIth CPC.
2. Zonal Heads of AIR Stations are therefore requested to take immediate necessary action to clear the pending ACP cases of Announcers by convening the Screening Committee meeting. As per the norms for the cadre of Announcers i.e. for 1st ACP on completion of 12 years regular service for pending cases upto 31.08.2008, the composition of the Screening Committee is as under :-
1. Station Director of the Zonal station - Chairman
2. Station Director of neighbouring station - Member
3. Asstt. Station Director of the Zonal station - Member
3. Asstt. Station Director of the Zonal station - Member
The composition of Screening Committee for the 2nd ACP cases on completion of 24 years of regular service for the pending cases upto 31.08.2008 is as under:-
1. Deputy Director General (Admn.) - Chairman
2. Chief Producer/D.P (Drama) - Member
3. Director of Programmes (Personnel) - Member
3. As regards the first ACP on completion of 12 years qualifying service, the Screening Committee recommendations may be sent to this Directorate for approval of the competent authority and as regards the 2nd ACP cases the proposal alongwith the service particulars in the enclosed proforma, uptodate CR dossiers, vigilance clearance etc. may be sent to this Directorate for convening the Screening Committee meeting.
